Sekine padded up to Aratona and nudged her back to the cave. "Althaia's going to get her, don't worry." He helped her settle in the nest and laid beside her licking her fur.

Althaia came back to find Aratona outside of the cave, she picked up the cat and dragged her gently back. "We need to talk." She placed the cat on the bed she made and looked at her in the eyes. "Riltra has passed away, Aratona. I found her body by the edge of the forest. She is charred and burnt. I am sorry Aratona." She went back out and wrapped the small body in cobwebs,and leaves. "She was a good person, Aratona."

Aratona let out a faint mew of protest but was too weak to struggle and fell instantly asleep.

Althaia watched the cat fall asleep. She sighed and brought Riltra's body inside of the cave. She let Stonepelt and Flaimtrak and the few other cats come in the cave. It was decently sized. She soon finished wrapping up Riltra's body. She wiped the tears away.

She weeped into Stonepelt's chest. She sighed and lightly kissed Stonepelt's cheek. "Hi." She said.

Aratona woke and looked groggily around the cave. As soon as she saw Riltra's body she jumped up and limped over to her, pressing her nose in Riltra's cold fur. A wail of grief escaped her lips as she began to weep over her dead litter-mate's body.

Althaia walked over to Aratona, she soon cried with her cat buddy, "I'm sorry Aratona, I tried," She said sadly.

Aratona turned and snapped at Althaia "Well you didn't try hard enough!" grief turned Aratona into a completely different person. She pushed her nose back into Riltra's fur and continued weeping.
