Aratona sighed as she padded quietly through the meadow. The prey was getting harder to find. Usually she gets about five pieces of good plump freshkill but today she only got 2 meager mice that she buried earlier. She was wondering if there would be better hunting by the lake when a familiar scent wafted to her nose. She bounded forward untill she found her friend Banilye. "Hi Banilye." Her tone was unusually subdued because of her lack of energy and happiness from the food shortage.

Banilye was sleeping on the meadow although she looked dead.

Aratona padded quickly to her friends side an d began prodding her with her paw "Banilye? wake up." Panic began to set in her voice and out of sheer terror she jumped up and down on top of her friend shouting as loud as she could "BBBBBAAAAANNNNNIIIIIILLLLLYYYYYEEEEE WWWWWWAAAAAKKKKEEEEE UUUUUPPPPP!" repeatedly.
